Surreal Architecture

A medium to promote an exhibition showcasing "surreal architecture", my chosen artist of choice is fine art and architectural photographer Filip Dujardin. I want the audience to immediately feel curious and interested because surrealism in architecture is rarely said or seen. My overall objective is to promote and hopefully increase the use of surrealism in today's society because I think it is one of the best art movements out there, but it is rarely used now, especially in Singapore, so this exhibition will let people see how such architecture will roughly look like.

DELTA Influence
DELTA is very structured and there is a lot of the use of basic shapes such as parallelogram, rhombus etc. By adding those structured shapes into my designs, it does create a contrast between the shapes that are used. To represent surrealism, I used a lot of curvy lines to show 'melting', while the DELTA feature would bring in the sense of strong structure into my design.
Colour Scheme
Sky blue: Peace | Jungle green: Balance| Blush pink: Playfulness | Rose pink: Gratitude
I chose these colours because they are somewhat contrasting to each other but also fit into my surrealism theme due to them being pastel colours. Since surrealism usually uses colours that create the image that are impossible in reality, I chose these colours with their representation in mind.
