Getting Perspective - Kloe Loiselle
Relative size
For this photo, I made it look like my sister was drinking a giant gatorade bottle. I held the bottle in the top left corner (trying my best to not shake the drink or the camera) and held it closer to me to make her seem smaller compared to the drink. This photo represents depth because of the size different of the drink and her since normally gatorade bottle are much smaller than humans.
Focus
For this photo, I got the ribbon in focus while having the pieces of tree around it seem slightly out of focus while having the Christmas tree behind extremely out of focus. All of this was done with a small aperture to capture the essence of depth of field photos. (And yes, we still have our Christmas decorations up... oops).
Interposition
For this last photo, I placed a toner in front of a serum to make them look slightly bigger or smaller. The toner is placed closer to the camera and is more in focus while the serum is behind the toner and not as focused. Both objects are the same size, but since one is in front of the other and my camera is placed lower, this photo gives a depth feel to it.
