I made these linocut illustrations for an exhibition "Justice, Truth and Peace...?"

When the conflict lasts for centuries between nations, communities, or even species, its origin can become obscured over time. The reason for the fight is reinvented generation after generation, until there is no need for it anymore. Much like the perpetual rivalry between cats and dogs, the enmity between Muslims and Jews appears unsolvable.

Yet, amid this seeming impasse, it becomes obvious that under specific circumstances, such as a shared home,  there is a possibility for peaceful coexistence.
