Hibernia REG, Community Engagement Charter

I was tasked with the creation of a Community Engagement Charter.

This charter acted as a sustainability governance enabler as part of the companies wider sustainability policy framework. This project involved competitor market research coupled with analysis of best practice examples from Ireland and the UK.
The charter set out a commitment to transparency within social value creation and reporting through the effort to create a social value measurement framework within the Irish real estate market.
The charter outlined four objective areas
1) Education and Skills, giving people the confidence and knowledge to progress their careers and learning.
2) Pride and Ownership, promoting communities' pride and sense of ownership over Hibernia's buildings.
3) Charity Partnership, creating positive social impact in partnerships for strategic value creation.
4) Wellbeing, making built environments that promote wellbeing.
