Look back at a school project imagined 7 years ago.
I discovered 3d jewelry printing so I became interested in the new shapes and functionalities this new technology could offer.
A few key words guided my research such as: mixed, stylistic appropriation and personalization.
I also wondered how to bring a new way of wearing jewelry.
Concept
Customizable patterned button covers.
The idea is to accessorize everyday pieces with a small printed ring, in the pattern of your choice, which can easily removed and put back on.
3D printing
3D printing makes it easy to vary patterns and create original shapes that would be complicated to create manually.
This technique allows you to make the jewel your own, and to wear it casually as well as dressed up.
