Efteling assignment - Danique van der Linden
First I started with 3 concepts
1. Dark Ride
2. Roller Coaster
3. Arcade

I then made moodboards for each concept, visualising mostly their vibe and aspects.
(The moodboards are in the same order as the concepts above)
From here I decided to go with the arcade, because it was the most unique and exciting concept.
In this arcade you have 2 different halls.
In one of them you are outside, like Alice is in the beginning of the fairy tale.

The other hall revolves around "Underland", the live action version of Wonderland.
To get from one hall to the other you walk through the rabbit hole, on a glass bridge.
In the first, outside hall, there's birds chirping with calming music. A smell of fresh mountains and flowers, you are in an environment of nature with trees, a grassy carpet and leaves.
As soon as you go to the other hall, the lighting gets much darker and you are in a castle. You hear mysterious music and the fresh smells from earlier go away.

These are my first two moodboards of Alice in Wonderland, showing both sides of the story.
These are my first logo sketches and my alterations of the logo I ended up going with.
