This project was an exploration of the 3D space in Adobe After Effects. I chose to use a book in the public domain from the Library of Congress Ballad of the lost hare | Library of Congress (loc.gov) The first step was to layer the image in Photoshop and filling the blank spaces with a variety of techniques from content aware fill and the clone tool. The images once prepared where brought into After Effects and placed at different depths to achieve the desired parallax effect. After animating the layers, I used Audition to record the abridged narration and combined the elements in Premiere Pro.
