These are 2 prototype designs I made for Badenchini Chardonnay wine cans packaging. The goal was to create young and fresh designs that could be appealing and attract consumers such as young adults and curious tins collectors. The use of tin material makes the product lighter to transport, recyclable and cheaper to produce.
I made the illustrations after researching on wine, collectible tin cans, chardonnay and young adults interests.
The first design features a young lady, which represent seduction and sensuality, holding a glass of Chardonnay. The illustration is specular because it is inspired by the figures on typical Italian cards. I choose colors that were able to create great contrast to set the focus on the wine.
The second design represents a city landscape at night which symbolize the night life. I wanted to include the night sky because wine is mostly consumed in the evenings. On the rear there's a little alien "easter egg" to attract consumers' eyes.
