I redesigned the Sforza Castle (castello Sforzesco), one of Milan's architectural symbols, introducing elements that belong to my imaginary style. I have left the central tower almost untouched while I have introduced a few fantasy elements here and there to give if possible more mystery to the historical development of this castle. Now it looks more like a kind of ancient spaceship. A Vimana of the Italian Renaissance. I hope you enjoy it!
I used a "paper canvas" for the realisation of the work. In practice, the frame is made of wood, while cold-pressed Canson 300g/m² paper was used instead of canvas.
The surface of the work is 60x50cm.
The colours are Schmincke watercolours
The brushes are Winsor&Newton series 7 and Tintoretto Sintetico (Feltracco series).
I started with a raw concept on Ipad pro & Procreate and than printed the result and transfer it on the canvas.
