Lunch Pals
Lunch Pals is a fun, new, and interactive prepackaged lunch pack that ensures healthy and wholesome meals for kids and parents on the go.
The primary package is a molded fiber tray that separates and protects each of the following food items: grapes, carrots, cheese, crackers, and a hard boiled egg. The tray is sealed with a LLDPE film for freshness, containment and printability. The entire tray is housed in a paperboard sleeve for portability, shelf impact and user enjoyment.

- Design and prototype a packaging system for a ready-to-eat meal for kids that encourages healthy eating.
- The package should be innovative, protective, and economical.
How
- Designed on SolidWorks, ArtiosCAD, Kongsberg cutting table, and Keyshot.
Results
- Utilizes a playful and transformative frog to attract both the parent and child.
- In retail, the frog is hidden by lily pads. Once opened, the frog can bounce.
- Made of molded pulp, SBS, and PLA.
- Added tear-away handles and tear tabs for ease of use, especially for small hands.
