3D Logo animation
A fast animation for the CreaTiVì logo (OTT platform and mobile app) I made in 2023 with Blender 3.5 + Eevee rendering engine.
Starting from the logo given to me, featuring pastel tones and recalling a three-dimensional rectangle, I recreated the latter with a cube mesh, masked with a Boolean operator to make it appear at a certain height.
Then, using Shape Keys, I animated the sides of the rectangle so that it would widen and also adding a "rubbery" effect. Then I traced the letters of the logo and made them appear in time with the music.
To give a flat but marked appearance, I created an outline with a Grease Pencil layer, slightly distorted so as not to make it look totally digital (with a noise modifier that is altered frame by frame).
Finally, I set the mode of the Blender camera as Ortographic, to avoid distortions and cancel the depth.
As you can see here, the Grease Pencil outline glitches a bit in the viewport, but not in the final render, as you can see below.
For the music, given the pastel theme, I tried to create a track in the Future Bass genre, inspired by Ujico*/Snail’s House works, quite sustained and cheerful.
