STERNWARTE MÜNCHEN E.V. (Observatory, Munich, Germany)
THE BRIEF: Create a new visual identity for a Munich based observatory. The identity consists of posters, a new color harmony, new typography and a generative logo.
THE IDEA: The positions and sizes of the letters are based on the solar system. The random arrangement and sizes of the letters in the logo are derived from the solar system and form the basic grid for the entire visual language. Any logo can be generated for a specific date, which visualizes the current planet positions. For the imagery in posters close-ups of the corresponding planet textures were selected.
