I had the privilege of animating the banners for Cloudcut's (https://cloudcut.co) client's Christmas 2023 campaign. Design was done by the amazing creatives on the team and my role involved adding subtle animations to the shapes. Explore the behind-the-scenes glimpse into my animation process below.
Most of the animation was done using CC Effects and 3D camera.
The orange star was the most tricky part of the whole animation.
I precomposed moving lines into the rectangle and then duplicated this rectangle multiple times. Then, I positioned these rectangles into the star shape in 3D space.
