الأطلال قصيدة للشاعر إبراهيم ناجي. وقد أنشدت أم كلثوم بعض أبياتها مضافا إليها أبيات اختارتها من قصيدة ( الوداع ) لإبراهيم ناجي في عام 1965 بعد وفاة شاعرها بثلاثة عشر عاما. وحملت الأغنية اسم الأطلال، وكانت من ألحان الموسيقار رياض السنباطي. ويعتبرها الكثيرون أجمل ما غنت أم كلثوم
The Ruins is a poem by the poet Ibrahim Naji. Umm Kulthum sang some of her verses, in addition to verses she chose from the poem “The Farewell” by Ibrahim Naji in 1965, thirteen years after her poet’s death. The song was called Al-Atlal, and was composed by musician Riad Al-Sunbati. Many consider her the most beautiful thing Umm Kulthum has sung.
