Our project revolved around beginning an initiative using UX skills and techniques that promotes neighborliness. Our team narrowed down our ideas to create an app that encourages neighbors to participate in activities that promote a good neighborhood spirit.

3 Contributions I made for the project:
Assisting with analysing the research results
Developing the PO Box idea and visualizing it using 3D modelling softwares
Conducting User Testing.

I mainly played my role in the project by developing and enhancing the PO Box idea. I took charge of rendering the idea using tools like SketchUp and Enscape. This allowed me to leverage my skills in design and visualization to bring a tangible form to the concept. Throughout the process, I gained a deeper understanding of how my academic background and practical expertise could be seamlessly integrated to enhance the overall project. I also conducted user testing, interacting directly with users to gather insights, and created personas by summarizing research findings. This hands-on experience helped us refine our design based on real user needs. Overall, my involvement covered concept development, practical application, and understanding user preferences, showcasing the collaborative efforts of our team.

3 Things I have learnt and overcame:
Different people have different working styles
Time management and communication is crucial when working as a team
Leveraging on each others strengths is far more effective that delegating tasks just to get things over and done with.

In our team journey, I've learned that embracing diverse working styles gives room for creativity, while effective time management and communication are pivotal for smooth collaboration. Another impactful lesson has been realizing the power of leveraging each team member's strengths instead of merely delegating tasks. This approach not only enhances individual performance but also creates a positive and shared responsibility atmosphere, shaping my future approach to teamwork. From this I have learnt that, we must learn to adapt to the working styles of others, and in the event of a disagreement or feedback, or even a conflict, good communication is very important to ensure that messages are delivered as they are intended.
