Reprap Huxley 3D Printer

I constructed a Reprappro Huxley 3D printer in the summer of 2013. It is a small desktop 3D printer which is constructed from a kit. Additional information on the printer kit can be found here.

What follows are some photos of objects I have printed as I developed my understanding of 3D printing through using this machine.
First print, this object is a part from the printer. Very rough print as I didnt really know what I was doing.
Cube Gear
Probably my second print. I left the majority of the settings to be defined by the slicing program due to my inexperience. Print resolution around 0.3mm.
Finished Cube Gear. Very low print resolution.
After experimenting with the printer for a while I began to understand the settings and what factors influence the quality of the print. At this point I had added computer fans to the printer to cool the print and to cool the motor drivers to prevent them from overheating and causing 'skipping'. I also replaced the stock 0.5mm nozzle for a 0.3mm nozzle for more accurate prints.

Faberdashery Skull
Printed at 0.1mm resolution and around 10% infill. The layers are still visible but the surface is smooth.
STL file can be found here
Finished Skull
Gyro Cube
Printed around 0.2mm resolution. STL file can be found here.
Gyro Cube mid print.
As it was printed without support material the print got a bit messy as it started to overhang.
Finished print still on the bed.
Finished Gyro Cube.
