On The Road To Oaxaca
We arrived in Oaxaca, famous for its colourful streets and food. The temperature hits you as soon as you arrive, Mexico city was pretty cold, especially at night time . Jacket and jeans weather. Oaxaca’s climate was a step in the right direction for me, I like it around 32C.
No taxis are available to the city. You have to catch a collectivo. Ours was full of homogenous looking, Instagram types called Esme and Sara. This was very much a theme for the Oaxaca landscape. Due to the pretty colours there were numerous photo opportunities around town. Uninterested in their conversations (spending time with people from home was hardly the reason why I travelled to Mexico in the first place) I managed to wangle the front seat and got cracking with photographing Oaxaca.
