Neo Agora / A Metaphysical Space

 

The project aims to create a metaphysical retreat complex dedicated to those who still worship the Greek Pantheon and uphold Hellenistic customs. The entire complex derives from a study of Athen’s Urban Fabric which consists of the Agora, Acropolis and Areopagus. Thus, the project was divided into three main zones designated as contemplative, communal and worshiping zones. The Stoa/Arcades serves as the main circulatory spine holding all these spaces together, however visitors are obliged to enter the communal zone before deciding to proceed to either the temple or the contemplative zone.
