Project 10: The Great Label-off of 2014
Hello Tumblr! For this project I wanted to do a brandy bottle. Because I enjoy brandy and I could do “research”… and because I had never ever designed any sort of alcohol label before! So for this concept, I was inspired by state fruits and how awesome and important fresh local produce is. Each bottle, when filled, has a simple flavor driven label with the small logo on the top. When you start to pour, however, you see a street map pattern come to life that reflects the capital city of each state. The pattern appears tone-on-tone as first, adding a little mystery to the design.
The name of the brand is inspired by my late great grandmother who passed away while working on this project.
