Golden Hour Visions: Brianna Ming
These photos were taken while I was on my way to an event one evening. I really wanted to capture the golden aspect of golden hour. The first photo is of 3 lamp posts in a row with the building in the background illuminated by the sun. The second photo is the shoulder of the person in front of me on the bus. The last photo is of the building that was being lit up by the sun on the one side.
I really like shooting during golden hour. I have always enjoyed looking at how the sun casts light on objects around sunrise and sunset. It was challenging to find a good time to take photos during golden hour while we are in the winter months. There had been many gloomy days and it was hard to get myself to go out in the cold to shoot.
Through this assignment I learned that things can look very different depending on the lighting. If I had have taken these same photos at another time of day, they may not have been as interesting as they were during golden hour.
