Strike Out Hunger

“Giving fatigue" happens during the holidays when people are either tired of being asked to give or they’ve exhausted their giving resources. With Strike Out Hunger, Food Bank of the Heartland plans it’s main fundraising event to coincide with the College World Series (when all of Omaha is steeped in baseball) and giving fatigue is less of an issue.
 
The poster campaign and morning DJ radio drove our audience to a responsive site where they could see the current donation scoreboard, learn about food insecurity and make a monetary donation.
 
This campaign was recognized in CA Exhibit and Graphis, but the best part is Food Bank for the Heartland received 350,000 meals, 100,000 above their goal.
