PLASTIC POLLUTION | Fanzine

A fanzine (fanatic magazine) is a private edition or mini-magazine and also a booklet, a printed or online publication, an original creation and production).
They can be periodical or not, institutionally independent.

For my "Product Design" class, I must create an original edition / an aesthetically coherent object by combining different means of expression on a chosen subject
The subject of my fanzine is a pressing environmental concern that significantly affects our planet : "PLASTIC POLLUTION IN THE OCEANS".

The choice to address the theme is based on the imperative to raise awareness and mobilize our society in the face of this global crisis, emphasizing the devastating consequences on marine biodiversity and our own well-being.
It's a fanzine with an original form. The object is a box made from the assembly of wooden cardboard, measuring 15x25x20 cm (LxWxH) in total.
The box contains 7 tablets of plastic waste, made with resin. These wastes are often those that can be found on beaches and in the oceans (plastic bags, cans, cups, straws, ...)

Between these tablets are 6 transparent plexiglass plates which contain 6 important things to know about this phenomenon, all handwritten.
