Numb3rs
"Hey there! Wondering if you have a prompt for this week off the top of your head"

Was the message I received the other day. After a few moments thought I sent back:

Numbers…
Landscape
Can mono be part of it too?

That’s the first thing that came into my head!

And so it was chosen for this weeks theme in a photography group. It was also the kick I needed to get my camera out with me and start shooting. I have to admit that I havnt actually shot much at all since Christmas (writing this on the 20th January) So I was excited about shooting something for my own theme... well I can't not show up now!

The following images are all from a walk around Cambridge.
16...
I love this little scene in Cambridge, I also have a love for bicycles... The numbers however are just not prominent enough in this for me to use it for the prompt.
1st image too simple, 2nd image I do like a lot, 3rd image cliche maybe...
03/01/24...
My draw to bicycles is real... But I was really happy with this one! the tape over the elastic band was making sure the person knew the University means business!
Ɛ 𐑕...
It's all in the details, yeah yeah another bike, I hear ya!
2648...
...would have been my choice if it wasn't for the next two (three) that I had.
CULT
I really liked how gritty this "modern" phone box was. But just wasn't interesting enough for me to choose for the theme.
3
I thought this was the one. I love it, it has depth and for me has a feeling of stepping into the frame, the door adjar with the people in the place invite you in. Well that's my thoughts on it.
10/6...
I clocked this in the window of "The Haunted Bookshop" tucked away down a little
alleyway opposite Kings College. I like minimalism and depth in photography as it really draws the eye to the subject. This was my winner from what I shot for the theme.

Thanks so much for viewing !
