CC2222 MOTION GRAPHIC DESIGN: FRAME-BY-FRAME ANIMATION TASK
Task Introduction

The task requires to create a frame-by-frame animation from a series of static images that shows a complete full movement of a character for either an interaction between designer and client, trying out a fancy mean or recording something as an influencer. Ensure there is some form of storyline applied to it.

The image assets can be created in Adobe Illustrator and animate in Adobe Photoshop. The project is to be saved as a GIF image.
Design Concept

The design concept for this animation aims to capture the essence of a sophisticated dining experience in a fancy restaurant that includes a refined and aesthetically pleasing restaurant backdrop. The main character is a customer who is seated at the restaurant and as the animation progresses, a waiter will then bring out the customer's fancy meal to the table. The customer then proceeded to indulge the fancy meal brought upon him. The goal of the design concept is to capture the action of enjoying an excellent meal in a sophisticated dining setting through this animation.
Design Process

The design process started off with a brainstorming of ideas for the animation task. Once the brainstorming is done, all image asset was created from scratch using Adobe Illustrator from the restaurant backdrop, items and characters. Two characters were included in the animation, the customer and the waiter. Both characters has different animation movement, the waiter walks into the frame to bring out the fancy meal and the customer enjoying the meal while seated in the restaurant. There is a total of 82 frames included in the animation. Each frames are adjusted properly to create a proper motion to the characters. The frames were then exported and brought into Adobe Photoshop to animate every frames altogether.
