What happens when a band acts like a brand? People sit up and take notice. WOLVVES went from concept to phenomenon in less than six months, driven on the strength of clear brand expression, consistent look and unique tone in press and appearances. The band has earned 5000 Facebook followers, twice featured as a Tumblr top post, scores of headlining performances, including SXSW and Northside festivals, and the attention of Flaunt Magazine, who is launching a music video for their song White on White directed by Daniel Gomes and edited by Adam 'Zuk' Zukermann in August. The song "It Speaks" also attracted avant garde designers Graham Wood and Flo Heiss who shot a video unbeknowst to the band on their own in London. WOLVVES will be expanding to form a more ecclectic body of work with a non-linear art installation experience, zine and clothing line in the fall. (WOLVVES is Elizabeth Valleau, Joshua Valleau and Lewis Valleau, with Elizabeth heading up Creative Direction and communications. ) Here's the Press Blurb: Joshua, Elizabeth and Lewis Valleau have been making music separately and in pairs for years, but finally the triplets are united in a mission to take dance music into the darkest of nights. Combining classical training in piano, guitar, harpsichord, drums, and voice with personal obsessions with synthesizers, drum machines, analogue tape and Live PA, WOLVVES seeks to push the fragile boundaries... Here's the Press Blurb:
Joshua, Elizabeth and Lewis Valleau have been making music separately and in pairs for years, but finally the siblings are united in a mission to take dance music into the darkest of nights.

Combining classical training in piano, guitar, cello, drums, and voice with personal obsessions with synthesizers, techno, drum machines, analogue tape and Live PA, WOLVVES seeks to push the fragile boundaries of dance genres into the psychedelic extremes of harmonic emotion.

WOLVVES are inspired by bells, J Dilla, Berghain, Detroit, white-knuckled terror, The Gap Band, Paula Abdul, and the knowledge that "Every moment we are living in someone else's past" - William Gibson.

Their debut EP "Feed the Hand that Bites" is out on Bandcamp.
