Using Adobe InDesign I designed the typography and imagery for the cover story of a fictional magazine titled ‘Magasin’. The headline article was about the musical group 100 Gecs. I created a visually interesting layout of photographs and shapes to compliment the more simple format of the body text. To break up blocks of body text I used pull quotes with different sizes and colors. 

I wanted to create a unique type for the magazine title so I created my own drip style font which is also featured in the table of contents section. The magazine focuses on the arts and culture, so I thought the more organic and expressive nature of my font made sense, and matched the publication’s  creative energy.
