#ItsOurTime was at&t's Winter Olympics campaign, and it focused around supporting the athletes representing the United States in Sochi. It encouraged users to record themselves chanting U-S-A, and then featured those chants on a desktop site, a mobile app, and in installations around the world. A case study and campaign overview of #ItsOurTime can be viewed here.
Two TV spots were created, highlighting the real lives of the athletes competing in Sochi.
Athlete pages featured social content aggregated from the athletes' own feeds: Facebook, Twitter and Instagram were all supported.
The mobile app was the keystone of the digital campaign — this is where users would record their U-S-A chant.
A prompt and audio track would guide users while recording. After submitting, they could explore the gallery, see their friends posts via social integration with Facebook and Twitter, and share their chants. Some of the website content, was available in-app as well.
Though bringing the chant wall to the mobile site was not possible, it served as a gateway through which users could download the app as well as see additional site content. Its UI echoed that of the app as much as possible.
