Scrubshopper - Catalogs, Website, Collateral

Scrubshopper.com
I began working on the Scrubshopper business in 2006. We started with a reskin on the original Yahoo! store, then the next assignment was to build a print catalog.

Mail Order Catalogs

I created 7 different catalogs from 2006 to 2010. Each was between 36 and 48 pages long in full color. I created the original structure, coordinated with our brand manager on what products to feature and in what order, and did all the design and layout.

About halfway through the series we switched from a full-size 8.5"x11" layout to a smaller, taller-porportioned format. I continued to do all the design, layout, and content verification. I heavily used color swatch libriaries and stylesheets to keep everything consistent and easy to update.

Compared to the average hospital scrub catalog at the time, I tried to take the design into a higher-end style while still meeting the ordering and selection needs of nurses.

The Website

I also worked on the website on three different platforms. From Yahoo! we moved to X-Cart, and I rebuilt all the templates to add new features and integrate a better design. In 2010, after I had returned to the company and brought my custom HonestEngine (see other project) e-commerce system with me, I worked with Jim Kane to set up the system for multiple stores and we relaunched Scrubshopper on this third platform where it runs today.
