I attended the Quantitative Methods Workshop at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology this year for a week of lectures and labs, we learned to use computational methods to leverage data in biology and neuroscience. This particular exercise was to use cryoSPARC to illustrate the single particle reconstruction technique from electron microscope photographs, commonly used to determine the 3D structure of protein complexes. 

This sample is the 20S proteasome from a thermophilic yeast.
