TD Mobile App UX & UI
Here I've re-imagined how TD could amp up their mobile banking experience, by adopting a very clean & simplified design.
You'll notice that the circular UI design & animation is something that I kept consistent through out - right from the moment you input your thumbprint. A thumbprint is unique to the user, just like every bank account and banking need is unique to the user. You need to design from an end-user perspective, and that means understanding the value of placing people first.4
Chi-Cheemaun Mobile App
The Chi-Cheemaun is a vehicle-carrying ferry that takes people from Tobermory to Manitoulin Island. There are lots of activities to do on the island, but they are not well known to the general public. That's why we created an app that would curate all the various attractions, and group them according to people's interests - like food, nature, culture, shopping etc The users can then travel to these venues easily thorough the app's built-in GPS. The design was made to emulate native woodland style paintings of the aboriginal people of Manitoulin Island.
CountDracu1: Kid Friendly Adventure Game App
CountDracu1 is an early learning app for toddlers & pre-school kids starring Count Dracu Jr (a friendly vampire from Toronto, Canada) as he takes you through his house and introduces you to his circle of multicultural friends; there's Frankie the Jewish Frankenstein, Raggy the Egyptian mummy, Howie the Ukrainian werewolf, Yetinder the Indian yeti, and many more lovable characters.
Each of his friends are missing something, and you need to help them find it. Also collect all the medallions, and you'll get a chance to win a prize at the end of the game.All the character illustrations, set designs, character voices, and app programming was done by Denny Kurien.

Ontario Science Centre: Augmented Reality App
THE CHALLENGE: Ontario Science Centre needed a campaign to launch their latest exhibition "The Science of Rock N' Roll". However, most of the media that they had purchased was traditional : like newspaper print ads and billboard ads - it didn't have any interactive elements that would engage with their target audience.
THE SOLUTION: We took the traditional media that they had purchased and made it interactive by creating the "Rockquations" App. We took scienctific equations and substituted the symbols with rock-n-roll icons. Then using Augmented Reality, we allowed users with smartphones and tablets to engage with the print ads to figure out what their rock-star personas was, and share it with their social network.

Christmas Karaoke : A Christmas Caroling app
To celebrate the holiday season, myself and Preety Bhalla sung 12 Christmas carols which we then compiled into a mobile & tablet app, called "Christmas Karaoke: 12 Carols". The app allows you to sing along to your favorite Christmas carols using the lyrics and insturments provided. The proceeds from the app, went to a charitable organization called "Make A Difference (MAD)" that helps the poorest children in India.
