Rissájávri (Northern Sami: ”lake glowing like fire”) or Trollsjön (Swedish: ”Troll lake”) is the clearest and purest lake in Sweden. It is composed of meltwater from the surrounding glaciers and is (almost) completely devoid of life.
At the top of this oddly shaped rock formation lives an old hermit. He will accept no offering of any kind, be it food, clothing or otherwise, nor share his thoughts of wisdom with anyone.
