This is my ode to Carl Sagan. An astronomer who was very inspirational throughout my life. His words of wisdom were always on my mind, especially in recent years. With everything going on in the world, he reminds me that we all living on a mote of dust suspended in a sunbeam. We are wanderers. Always searching for the unknown.
In his book "The Pale Blue Dot" he wrote; "The Earth is the only world known so far to harbor life. There is nowhere else, at least in the near future, to which our species could migrate. Visit, yes. Settle, not yet. Like it or not, for the moment the Earth is where we make our stand."
