Chasing a Promise

A promise while approaching fall

Why leave so soon from the forest ball?

Soon the season will be changed 

Once again I'll be left estranged

You'll quietly ride away on the breeze 

As the temperature starts to freeze

The air suffocates my heart

Soon as we are forced to part

As Jupiter won’t save this storm

This precarious sky became the norm

Why did we ignore all the signs, the pleads

My bug friend, please don’t leave.
