Act/One is a recurring monthly feature on Rappler that champions Filipino-made short films and the brilliant filmmakers behind them.
This, I would say, is primarily the passion project I've helped spearhead during my time with RAPPLER — a trusted and globally acclaimed independent news media company led by Nobel Peace Prize winner, Maria Ressa — where I worked as Head of Brand Integration for two years.
Over the two years I've handled the section, we were able to screen award-winning Filipino short films, including Contestant #4, Si Astri Maka si Tambulah, Pusong Bato, and more.
