Quickfire
The Freethinking Workshop Brand

There is a need to highlight that we are able to accelerate the "time to value" for clients. Create engaging content that is tailored to workshops. More engaging & playful.

Freethinking Business Consultants saw fit to create a sub-brand for their workshops service offering. This decision arose from the need to protect the main brand by creating collateral that they can give away. Inspired by the rapid fire world of design sprint workshops, the most popular workshop in the design world, they named this offering 'Quickfire'.

The sub-brand design was done in such a way to connect visually to the main brand, retaining certain elements, but to still have its own recognisable voice and style.
Moodboard
The goal from the start was to create engaging & playful content, tailored to workshops and allowing for a free space where people can explore. The Y2K trend served as huge inspiration, and the floating shapes and gradients present in these visuals are already part of the Freethinking brand.
Colours & Fonts
The colour scheme was directly inspired by the Freethinking secondary colours, with the addition of an electric yellow, something completely other and playful in the already bright set. Gradients are very Y2K, though not available in Miro, so a workaround was devised to still be able to use them.
The fonts were chosen based on the fact that they are Miro native and Google fonts. Workshops are all conducted in Miro to facilitate remote workshops, and them being Google fonts means that they can be easily used for any collateral outside of Miro as well.

Furthermore, Roboto is the secondary font for the Freethinking brand, creating another subtle link between the parent- & sub-brands.

Image Library
Wanting to create a playground for people's ideas, the images feature wide open skies, toys and avant garde spaces overlayed by various gradients.
Components Library
A Miro template board was set up to house all of the elements needed to build new boards. Like a components library in Sketch or Figma, the colours, fonts, graphic elements and buttons are available, enabling consultants to create new workshop collateral or adapt existing content to suit a specific client.
