'Submerged' was an immersive exhibit with motion tracking interaction, 360 degree projection soundscape, fluorescent graphics and interactive touchscreens created for Sea Life Melbourne. The hero of the exhibit— the Firefly Squid took visitors on a journey to the depths of the bioluminescent Twilight Zone, 600m underwater.

I was responsible for the brand and spatial design of the exhibit. My main role was to design and illustrate the environmental graphics for the tunnels of the Oceanarium. The tunnels featured large-scale silhouettes of bioluminescent creatures moving through simplified coral forms, with holographic markings that glow under fluorescent light bringing them to life.

'Submerged' won a 2023 Good Design Award for Architectural Design in the Installation Design category.
