Vivere Magazine
8" × 10" Saddle Stitch Magazine
An assignment of the Visual Image class within the Sac State Design Program, I was tasked with a collaborative project in which 2 groups from 2 different cohorts (same class, different days of the week) who happened to choose the same topic were to work together to generate content for a fictitious periodical. We were required to include 2 articles, 3 interviews, and 3 advertisements relating to the spirit and happenings around Sacramento on the topic of community. Some of the other topics available were design/art, food/drink, and music. We chose community because we believed it encompassed all of those things, and more. We recognized the sense of community and culture in Sacramento was being strengthened and we wanted to capture it. The only shared aspect was written content; we each designed our own 25+ page magazine cover to cover, captured our own photography, and were required to have them professionally printed (saddle stitched).
