Catalog accompanying Dorota Buczkowska's exhibition at the Jednostka Gallery in Warsaw as part of Warsaw Gallery Weekend 2022.
"Thus spoke the Plant" is a project about plants that have a healing functions on many levels. It talks about a direct relationship with wilderness and calls for restoring respect and subjectivity to nature.
The assumption of the project was to reflect the character of nature, which "envelops" the artist's works, enclosing them in fleshy, structured, deep green paper. The prints were made on high-quality matte paper, perfectly reflecting the colors of the works. The choice of a minimalist cover and the use of only embossing refers to the silent, often unnoticeable presence of plants.
100 pieces of the catalog were created, each hand-signed by the artist.
