Hong Kong
This is the city where I came from. To many people, Hong Kong is an over-crowded concrete jungle, and it is reflected in many photographs taken by tourists from all over the world. However, this is an album that shows the city from the point of view of someone who was raised there with a blue-collar background. Many of these photos are taken from the neighborhood I grew up in - Tsuen Wan and Kwai Chung, which are often over-looked by foreigners because they are too far away from most tourist attractions in the city. This album shows where I went to school, shop, and commute - as a kid and as an adult.
This is the place I grew up, parted, returned, and left behind. This album is a visual journey of my past, consists of the images the city left behind in my head.
