This photography project is a typology serial, inspired by documentary photographers such as the Bechers.  Shot in black and white from identical vantage points for continuity, the series documents each of the diner-style restaurants on the well-known Figueroa Street in Los Angeles, with a humorous twist at the end.  The serial form allows the differences in the unique mix of local and chain eateries of different ethnicities to be naturally highlighted.  The pages are intended to be displayed as a 4x4 booklet.
