Final Project - Combining Existing Typefaces
Project Description:
Design 7 letterforms of a typeface by combining two other existing typefaces. The letters E T A O I N and R should be designed in capitals, weights and formal components of
letterforms should be considered. The design should take family resemblance into account as the unity between designed letters must be strong. The logical approach to this problem would be through vector manipulation / combination so please take advantage of the Pathfinder tools such as Minus Front, Unite, Divide, etc... after outlining the existing typefaces. Digital craft is very important as the anchor points and the overall vector forms should be designed in a sharp and clean way. The resulting typeface will likely be a display typeface rather than a typeface to be used as body text.
