When my brother got engaged, I was excited to contribute my part to the big day by designing the printed materials for the occasion. From the beginning, fusing a sense of joy with the formality of such a momentous event was a primary goal. This played out in two invitations (one to the ceremony for family and another to the reception which also included friends), the ceremony program, and a hand-bound guestbook. The result is an emphasis on clean typographic treatment with a rubber stamp and hand-bound elements added to give a human touch.
