World Homeless Day

In light of World Homeless day, we ran an awareness campaign targeting the Observatory and Saltriver geographical area in Cape Town – Awareness of Mi-change vouchers, a universal voucher for the homeless community to access basic needs and rehabilitation services within a 4km radius.
The Hero of the story was a formerly homeless graduate. Dimitri who had suffered addiction from the age of 16, experienced imprisonment and homelessness, yet through being offered a voucher he was able to access homeless support services within a 5km radius, underwent 2 years of rehabilitation and is now sober, employed and independent. We had over 80-100 people in attendance.
