KantCon 2011 introduced the world to the Jabbergluck as KantCon's first iconic character. The Jabbergluck is best known for his ever-present hunger, dim wit, and preference for living under bridges.
KantCon 2012's theme was "Run Faster Than the Gnome," a nod to the tongue-in-cheek idea that adventurers in a role-playing game only need to run faster than the slowest character to escape certain death at the hands (or jaws) of an overpowered foe.
Fancy was created as a living example of the traditional androgynous elf beauty that leaves gender open to debate. We're not certain whether Fancy is male or female, but we're not really sure it matters anyway!
Created by KantCon Organizer Ethan Parker, Massive Defender stands for the Canadian values of Truth, Justice, Right, and Justice! This adaptation of his character gives a distinctly mountie flavor to his original spandex superhero garb.
Brown and blue were chosen as a trendy color combination that has served to ultimately unify KantCon's various logos over the years. The font is Arilon Bold, chosen for its unique comic-book style.

Since 2012, the circle with text has served as a structure harking back to the shape of the text from 2011. The circle element also serves to create a cameo-like presentation of the yearly iconic character. Allowing the character to physically escape the confines of the circle suggests the open-minded perspectives and adventurous attitudes of KantCon staff and attendees alike.

Since 2013, the dotted interior further serves to lead the eye around the space, drawing attention to the yearly theme.
