I made this piano piece thinking about rest. It was the end of my first term as a college student, and I was adjusting to the changes brought by a fully online setting. It would also be the world’s first “covid” Christmas. So I composed this intentionally and intended to capture the feeling of sleepiness in the afternoon that just compels us to rest. It’s currently my most streamed song on Spotify, and even made me one of my friends' top artist. My friends say that it’s part of their playlists that calm them, and I’m really grateful this song is able to help with that.
