How can we correct gender bias in AI? By using AI itself.
How can we correct gender bias in AI? By using AI itself.
We used AI tools to create thousands of images of women in all professions removing gender from file names and descriptions so that AI can recognize them. We then added this huge database to our website, which uploaded this to stock image banks, social media, and the public image database that train AI. We also used AI platforms to invite artists and create a lifelong community that will keep working to fix the bias.
