Deutsche Post AG – Brand Identity

Between 1996 and 2005 and after the privatization of the Bundespost in 1995 I was decisive responsible for the development and creation of the new brand identity of Deutsche Post AG and later DHL.
 
During nearly 10 years I’ve been in charge for all operatings areas concerning the development of the integral corporate design.
This includes brand and co-brand development (integration and merger of Postbank, Mc Paper, DANZAS and DHL), corporate typography, icons and pictograms, all stationery items, forms and documents, car and plane branding, development and creation of styleguides for brochures, screen design, packaging, shop signage and a complete wayfinding systems for all internal and external areas.
 
In the end I was largely responsible for the graphic creation of the touring exhibition „10 years Deutsche Post AG“. Even 10 years later, most guidelines and the overal look of the brand identity developed at that time still exists.
