The art of Rudra The Origin

When asked about the significance of this project, I fondly recall my journey into the captivating world of comic artistry. My love for comics and storyboarding has always burned brightly, yet in the early days, I struggled to find a platform to hone my skills.

Between 2013 and 2015, I collaborated with 'Sphinx Creative Communication', where I showcased my artistic prowess primarily through illustrations for children's books. Though it was a fulfilling experience, it was a departure from the dynamic and intricate world of adult action comics, reminiscent of giants like Marvel and DC. During my tenure, the nuances of inking, penciling, and colouring for such illustrious genres remained elusive.

However, my passion never waned. I maintained an active presence on my blog and Facebook art page, occasionally sharing sketches of characters that danced in my imagination. It was during this time that fate intervened in the form of my dear friend, Kunal, who now stands tall in the tech world at Microsoft.

Kunal, recognising my potential, approached me with a golden opportunity to collaborate on the comic series, "Rudra - The Origin." Despite my initial hesitations due to my perceived lack of experience, Kunal's unwavering belief in me prompted me to take on the challenge. He entrusted me with the task of reimagining and refining

some pages previously created by another artist.

To my delight, my efforts surpassed expectations. This project became a transformative journey, teaching me invaluable lessons and pushing the boundaries of my artistic capabilities. While I encountered challenges and made mistakes along the way, perseverance and dedication were my guiding stars.
