A couple months back I had the greatest pleasure and privilege to work on Kelly Barnhill's new "The Ogress and the Orphans" cover for Algonquin Young Readers, New York.
Kelly is a Newbery medal winner for her book "The Girl Who Drank the Moon" and you may also know her for - "The Witch's Boy" and "The Mostly True Story of Jack"
It's truly an honor working with Kelly. And to be chosen to illustrate her world, amongst illustrators such as Jon Klassen and Iacopo Bruno.
