Spotify Wrapped Project

For this project, everyone in my class had to make their own Spotify Wrapped from a template we were given. I decided not to use the template because I wanted an excuse to make graphic elements from a tutorial on YouTube I've been wanting to try by elliotisacoolguy. I'm satisfied with the overall result, but if I had Illustrator at home, I would want to remove the flower shape I made because the clean lines contrast with the textures of both the album cover and the other graphic elements. I would also change the position/orientation of the squiggle because it peeks out from behind the image and can be seen between the purple graphics and the orb shape, which is distracting. The colors I chose were based on the album cover image I used (Long Lost by Lord Huron.) The font I used was 'Gotham' because it is the font Spotify uses. To get a high quality black Spotify logo for the corner, I found a green high resolution image of their logo, image traced it, expanded the result, removed the white background, grouped the traced letters, and changed the color from green to black. For the aesthetic of the design, I tried to emulate the style of the real Spotify Wrapped while also implementing textures and colors found in old TV shows (like Adam-12) as Lord Huron's music videos for this album are made to look like they're from the 50s/60s.
